Dim Sum II – November 4th, 10am

The second class in our series of Dim Sum classes gets a bit more involved with a new set of recipes. This is hands on so please come prepared to roll up your sleeves.
Turnip Cake – This dish is cooked twice and its the second cooking in a hot frying pan that give is a cruncy exterior.
Har Gow – This is often the litmus test of a good dim sum meal. The filling is pretty straight forward, but the skin is where you will be tested.
Egg Rolls – Crunchy and steaming hot are the only way to eat these morsels of goodness.
Meatballs – These meat dumpling uses a good bit of herbs to acheive its flavor but its the texture that draws people back.
Egg Custard Tarts – A sweet and fitting end to a great class. Made from scratch of course.
