Kids Cooking Camp – Live Feed!!!

ITK Culinary first week of camp is designed for the next social media sensation. Our facility was the backdrop for the first year of Top Chef and several other media hits. During this week, campers will be able to create recipes on their own then everyone will get the perfect their pitch and broadcast on their own or ITK’s Instagram, Facebook or Twitter page every day.
Monday – Healthy appetizers. Recipes are great, but only the beginning for chefs to understand ingredients. This session will focus in two ingredients only. Eggs and Potatoes. Breakfast? French Fries? Deviled Eggs? Your budding Chef gets to decide.
Tuesday – What else are we going to do except Tacos. But out spin will be to see how creative the Junior Chefs get. We’ll have a host of ingredients from the typical to the quite different. Tofu tacos anyone? Lets’ just say, they’re delicious and not too many people know it not meat.
Wednesday – Hump Day madness ensues with tricky recipes with a hump. We’ll have recipes and ingredients for Chefs to make Raviolis, Perogies, Stuffed Pretzels…..you get the picture.
Thursday – Battle of the Sliders. Think you have what it takes to make the best sliders around? Well, lets just see about that. But first we’ll get the kids baking with Kaiser Rolls, Brioche and Foccacia, then its up to them to chose between pork, beef, chicken, garbanzo and other veggie options to build the best slider.
Friday – We’ll end the week on a sweet note with a class focusing on cakes, icing, pies and cookies. Yes, we will use a piping bags and everyone will be challenged to get their best creation finished for our last filming day.
Summer classes start at 9am promptly and ends at 3pm in the afternoon. Extended care is available for pickup at 5:30pm. ˜Early drop off is also available for a limited number of participants.
Cost is $575 per week. Individual days may be available at $135 per day. Class size is limited to 25 participants per session.
