Join us for another great class where we bring far away flavors to ITK Culinary. Chef Vinicio is multi-talented in music and food. His class brings a taste of his home country San Salvador, that he wants to share with everyone. 100% authentic and hands on, this class will leave you satisfied and armed with the knowledge of how “locals” would prepare the dish.
Platanos y Casamiento – A classic dish of fried plantains with a marriage of rice and beans.
Yucca Frita – South America’s answer to the French Fry but better IMHO. Perfect for snacking and dipping.
Plantanitos – The answer for your chip cravings
Pastelitos de Masa de Chucho – Hand Pies with filling…..’nuff said.
Plato Tipico – Many consider this the National Dish of Salvadoran Cuisine
Fresco de Chan – A refreshing beverage of cane sugar and chia seeds
Minutas – Shaved ice with toppings that are both savory and sweet
