Summer Time BBQ

There is a long debate on the which region makes the best BBQ, but what is not up for debate is that you need to have tender meat with just the right amount of cooking involved. We will discuss the difference between grilling and BBQ which includes indirect heat and long slow cooking under moderate heat. We’ll supply a few tricks and techniques to make your meats memorable and your sauce sing.
Brisket – The traditional meat of many pit bosses, gets the full treatment.
Chicken – Hint….don’t BBQ chicken breasts. You’ll taste and see why the legs and thighs are far superior.
Ribs – Fall off the bone goodness comes with practice and knowing what to do at the right time.
Sauce – Store bought sauce is fine for most situation, but what are you gonna do for hours on end? Make it your own.
Baked Beans – Seems simple, but one fatal mistake will leave you with chewy beans. Find out why.
Side dishes – Hand cut potato chips are easy to make and will change your view on store bought for sure. Plus we’ll need corn bread and a salad for sure.
Bring your favorite beverage to enjoy with the class! Cost is $175 and class lasts approximately 4 hours. We will begin promptly at 10am and conclude around 2pm.
