Basic Cooking Skills – Class 1

Class 1 – Getting Ready

Our Basic Cooking Series is for those with limited cooking experience.  Each week we will tackle a method of cooking that was made popular by The Joy of Cooking.  This reference book contains more that just recipes as its shows a base format for dishes and once mastered, you’re off to explore with your own culinary flair.  You will certainly roll up your sleeves and get into the prep of the dishes for the evening:

What To Expect

In this class we will be going over a deep dive on the menu listed above. We will begin with Starting Course and Work our way to desert to finish off the night.

Be prepared to get hands on and get a little messy on this one as we will be working with flour and sauces that tend to make a mess for beginners.
